The original item was published from June 18, 2018 12:44 PM to August 10, 2018 12:05 AM

As part of our Camp SPL theme for the summer, Suffolk Public Library has lots of opportunities for teens to get engaged, have fun, and escape the heat. Introducing our Teens Meet, Move and Learn series!

MEET
Tweens are invited for a special Minecraft Mayhem complete with Minecraft games, LEGOs, and other fun tech. We're also bringing back our Teen Empowerment Meetup with Another Chance Youth Mentoring in July to help you learn ways to stay inspired and get empowered while jumping over the hurdles that teen life can bring. At the end of July we're participating in the National Teen Lock-In again! Has anyone been before? We had a blast at our last two and hope you can make it!

MOVE
Stay active this summer with our Fitness Scavenger Hunt and Yoga. Who knows, you may even win a prize at our scavenger hunt!

LEARN
Learning doesn't have to be boring. With our classes you'll walk away with some new life skills or just something fun you created. Come out to our Sewing Class, YouTube Workshop, and to transform a Plain White Tee to a Masterpiece.

Remember, all of these are completely free to attend! You don't have to be a library member to join in so bring a friend or two. We'll see you there!
