Mission Statement
Suffolk Public Library is dedicated to providing technology assistance and learning opportunities to patrons by offering one-on-one help through virtual and in-person technology assistance.
Current Guidelines for In-Person Tech Help
- Must abide by the 6 feet social-distancing standard
- Must wear a mask correctly at all times
- Bring your own mobile device in order for staff to assist you
- We cannot help you fill out legal documents

Discovery Appointments
Patrons can sign up for appointment-based one-on-one assistance with their tech questions. Community members can get assistance with Microsoft Office, email, Libby, Hoopla, and more. Suffolk Public Library currently offers virtual tech help through Zoom, Libchat, and over the phone. Starting April 2021, patrons can sign up for in person socially-distanced tech help at Morgan Memorial Library. At this time, we do ask for patrons to bring their own mobile device in order for staff to assist in any tech help.
Technology Workshops*
Tech "how to" workshops to the community in-house at various outreach opportunities. Potential workshops may focus on basic computer skills, resumes, and other topics (postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions).
Drop-In Tech Hours*
Available on Wednesdays from 10 AM - 12 PM at Morgan Memorial Library, a staff team will be available to assist in technology questions. No sign-up or library card required (postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions).
