New Central Library

Community Input

Take Our Survey

Our goal is to create a library that serves as a future center of learning and opportunity for all citizens which means we need you to contribute to the on-going planning effort. Take this survey on how new library spaces can better serve you and your community. Survey deadline has been extended to July 15, 2020.

If you prefer a hard copy, download the printable version. Don’t have a printer? Request a hard copy from the library and use our curbside service to pick it up from Morgan Memorial Library or North Suffolk Library.

You can also leave verbal feedback by calling 757-514-7311.

In addition to the survey, you can also provide your input and ideas for the new library by submitting drawings, inspirational photos, written suggestions, etc. by emailing them here:

The Modern Library

Libraries in the modern age have become community gathering places. They’re educational hubs with learning opportunities for all ages and go-to locations to explore local history. As an entrepreneurial incubator, the modern library attracts business-minded individuals with print and technological resources and state-of-the art meeting spaces. You can create, learn, play, explore, research, connect, design, and do more at libraries.
